Copyright & DMCA Notice

Last updated: May 20, 2026

The Dizi Insider respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users and content sources to do the same. While we operate from Bursa, Türkiye, our website and newsletter are accessible globally — so we observe both Turkish copyright law (Fikir ve Sanat Eserleri Kanunu, FSEK, Law No. 5846) and the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), as well as analogous frameworks in other jurisdictions.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized representative) and believe that material on thediziinsider.com or in our newsletter infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to us that includes:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (e.g., the title of the show, episode, image, or article).
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with a URL or other sufficient detail to allow us to locate it.
  4. Your contact information (name, address, email, phone number).
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury (or analogous Turkish criminal-law standard for false claims), that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner of the copyright or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

What We Do When We Receive a Valid Notice

Upon receipt of a valid takedown notice, we will:

Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed in error or you have authorization to use it, you may file a counter-notice that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury (or analogous standard), that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, phone number, and email.
  5. A statement of consent to the jurisdiction of the Bursa Courts (Türkiye), or, if you are outside Türkiye, the courts in your district, and consent to accept service of process from the original complainant.

Repeat Infringers

We will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts or relationships of subscribers, contributors, or sources who are repeat copyright infringers.

False Claims

Submitting a knowingly false takedown notice or counter-notice may subject the submitter to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, under both U.S. law (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)) and Turkish law (which provides civil and potential criminal remedies for false statements). Please consider whether your claim is valid before submitting.

Editorial Use and Fair Dealing

Much of our coverage relies on fair-dealing principles for news reporting, criticism, and commentary — including "iktibas serbestisi" under FSEK Article 35 (Türkiye), fair use under §107 of the U.S. Copyright Act, and analogous provisions in other jurisdictions. Before submitting a notice, please consider whether the use in question may be protected. We are happy to discuss specific concerns by email.
